Ryan is an entrepreneur and executive who has founded, grown and exited businesses in technology and food services. He completed his MBA at the University of Toronto in 2003 to work in investment banking and later founded Mainstreet Advisors, where he finances private and public companies, some of which he serves as CEO and/or CFO.

He is an owner/co-founder of Tacofino Cantina, which has grown from one food truck in Tofino to 13 locations in BC as well as Superbaba, currently opening its third location.

In 2013, he co-founded and re-launched Foodee as CEO and put in place growth strategies that led to the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Deloitte Fast50 Awards. Acquired in 2021 by Sodexo, Foodee serves over 4,000 corporate clients in major North American cities through 1000+ owner-operated restaurant partners. Ryan now leads retail food strategy and partnerships at Sodexo USA.

Ryan serves on the board of The Presidents Group, which advocates for accessible employment for those with physical or cognitive barriers. He was named to the BC500 most influential people in 2022 and '23. He and his family live in the dynamic neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant in Vancouver, BC.
